Karachi: Police, rangers kill 6 gangsters in Dalmia

Five members of a notorious drug dealing gang including its chief Kaloo Current have been killed in a combined operation of police and rangers in Dalmia while 24 other outlaws were arrested from the area.
For last several weeks Kaloo Current gang and its rival group Haji Aslam were engaged in armed conflicts and clashes in Shanti Nagar area of Dalmia. The local residents were in fact trapped in their houses due to the ongoing wars of these notorious gangsters.
According to details provided by police, Kaloo Current, Moosa, Ismail Kano, Sardar Ahmad and Ghulam Nabi have been killed in a combined action by police and rangers in Shanti Nagar of Dalmia area. The police added that the gangs were involved in kidnaps for ransom, sale of drugs and other several kind of crimes. During operation police have recovered a cache of weapons including TT pistols, Kalashnikovs, hand grenades, rocket launchers, stolen vehicles number plates, police uniforms and other material.
