Imran Khan is the current lover boy of Bollywood. Yesterday, his rom-com BREAK KE BAAD, opposite Deepika Padukone released. His previous release was I HATE LUV STORYS, another romantic comedy, starring Sonam Kapoor. Imran is also going to romance Kareena Kapoor in SHORT TERM SHAADI.
So is Imran afraid of being typecast as a lover boy?
No. On the contrary Imran is least bothered. He says, "I don't care if I am typecast. It doesn't matter to me till I keep doing good films. If my work is good, I will be appreciated irrespective of the kind or genre of the film and role."
The charming young actor is quick to highlight that he is also doing DELHI BELLY, an offbeat film.
Imran has worked in KIDNAP and LUCK, which weren’t rom-coms. But these two films failed miserably. One can only wait and watch to see if Imran can prove himself in genres besides romantic comedies.
