Shahid tired of being single!

Shahid Kapoor wants to fall in love again. “I’m tired of my single status. May be I will run into my dream girl in Edinburgh,” says the actor who is currently in this picturesque part of UK, shooting for his father, Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut Mausam with Sonam Kapoor.

Meanwhile, his long-delayed film, Milenge Milenge with ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor opened in theatres last Friday. Prod him on the “They’re back together” promos and the Facebook campaign that invited lovers to publicly forgive their exes online and a bemused Kapoor says, “After shooting a video for the film, I left the country and am clueless about the promotions. I’m sure Mr Kapoor (producer Boney Kapoor) had no malicious intentions,” he says.

So, has he forgiven his ex? “I could do with some forgiveness myself,” he chuckles. “All those who want to forgive me can please apply. As for me, I don’t hold any grudges.” The actor, after his break up in 2007 with Kareena Kapoor, was linked with co-stars Vidya Balan (Kismat Konnection), Priyanka Chopra (Kaminey), Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and more recently with Anushka Sharma (Badmaash Company). Understandably, he denied all of them.

He appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show, Lift Kara De on Sony, and admitted that he was “single and available”. It’s only now that he says he’s tired of being both.

shahid and kareena back?????

  • KAREENA AND SHAHID
After a huge breakup kareena kapoor decided to marry saif. But after the film MILENGE MILENGE , will there be a change in the relationship between kareena and shahid?
Every one is now waiting again for a hot news about SHAHID KAPOOR and KAREENA KAPOOR.
  • KAREENA ANGERS ABOUT MLENGE MILENGE

Earlier Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor declared that she has no problem in sharing the screen with her ex-beau, Shahid Kapoor but now it seems it was just the thing meant to be said and not to be felt. The leading actress is being a big matter of trouble for Boney Kapoor who is waiting for her dates to shoot for the promotional video for his upcoming film Milenge Milenge while the lady is busy with her other schedule.

Although Bebo doesn’t have to shoot the sequence with Shahid as he has already done with his part of the video still the actress is getting really pricy for the shoot. A source close to film’s unit revealed, “On Kareena’s say they decided to shoot the promotional video separately and merge them while editing. Shahid shot his part, and Bebo still had to finish her part. But the actress kept postponing and giving her dates to her other projects. She was busy shooting for Stepmom and now it is Golmaal 3 in Goa.”

It added, “Boney had a word with Kareena while she was in Goa and plans were also getting implemented for them to go shoot her part in Goa. But her hectic schedule in Goa also cancelled this plan. Now that she is returning back to Mumbai, he plans to get her dates and finish off her portion for the promotional video as soon as possible.”

confirming the news, Boney said, “The promotional video was never meant to be shot together. Shahid has already shot his part and Kareena was supposed to shoot separately her part when she was in town for Stepmom photo shoots, but it couldn’t happen then.”

He ended up saying, “Kareena is currently in Goa shooting for Golmaal 3 and will do her part very soon. We will be shooting in an outdoor location because we require a sunset scene.”

Well Kareena we would suggest you to maintain distance between your personal and professional life……otherwise you can get into a mess baby…

Thums Up - Recent Films Worth Watching :-)

 Kites
PB Rating: 7.5 out of 10 Public Rating (by 706 unique users): 5.91
Director: Anurag Basu Producer: Rakesh Roshan
Music: Rajesh Roshan Lyrics: Nasir Faraaz and Asif Ali Beg
Starring: Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut, Luce Rains, Kabir Bedi
Genre: Romantic Recommended Audience: Parental Guidance
Kites in the sky…strangely look like Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori with their strings cut. Though the film is directed well by Anurag Basu, the cinematography by Ayananka Bose is topnotch, and the acting by the lead pair is combustible, the film fails to leave you gasping for more. Neither a complete Bollywood film (there is no masala), nor an out and out Hollywood film…the film finds itself in an unfortunate gray zone. If the screenplay (credited to Anurag Basu, Robin Bhatt, and Aakash Khurana) had just a little bit more oomph to it, this one could have been a winner. As it stands, it’s an interesting film worth watching once, but afterwards you’ll find yourself cutting this “Kites” free…. and letting it soar away.

 Badmaash Company
PB Rating: 7.0 out of 10 Public Rating (by 529 unique users): 4.06
Director: Parmeet Sethi Producer: Aditya Chopra
 Music: Pritam Lyrics: Anvita Dutt
Starring: Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Meiyang Chang, Vir Das
 Genre: Thriller Recommended Audience: General
So, let’s see….Shahid Kapoor has followed up his excellent performance in “Kaminey” with the lukewarm “Paathshala” and now the so-so “Baadmash Company”. One would have thought that he would be a top headliner now with some really quality projects, as he is quite the talented actor.
It’s not that “Baadmash…” is a bad film (and heaven knows, I’ve seen a lot of bad films to know), it’s just that it could have been better. It’s got a unique concept, but is hindered by the first time direction of Parmeet Sethi (evil Kajol stealer from “DDLJ” and real life husband of Archana Puran Singh). He does a good job, and shows potential, but the film gets out of his control by the second half, resulting in a limp crawl to the finish line.
Set in the 1990s, the film is an interesting retro piece focused on four friends who start an import business that quickly becomes a bag of scams. Get your friendly neighborhood bag of scams before they sell out!. Shahid Kapoor is imminently watchable, Anushka Sharma gets to shine in a more modern avatar than her debut in “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”, Meiyang Chang is excellent and Vir Das holds his own. The music by Pritam is instantly forgettable (see that…I forgot it already). All in all, “Baadmash Company” is an interesting diversion for a few hours…. but come on Shahid…we’re still waiting for the killer blockbuster…. we know you have it in you.

 Paathshaala
Director: Milind Ukey Producer: Shaira Khan
Music: Hanif Shaikh Lyrics: Hanif Shaikh
Starring: Nana Patekar, Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia, Saurabh Shukla, Sushant Singh
Genre: Social Recommended Audience: Parental Guidance
Ahh, here comes Shahid Kapoor again. “Paathshala” is an interesting film that tries to deal with the real life issues of children being mis-treated by the educational system in India. It’s a topic worth shining the Bolly flashlight on, so that audiences can get a better understanding. It’s unfortunate that the film isn’t that great, though director Milind Ukey does a fine job, it is again the dreaded “dead end screenplay in the second half” syndrome that removes the teeth off of “Paathshala”. Still, the film is worth a watch for the pleasant music by Hanif Sheikh and actor’s jugalbandi between the always intense Nana Patekar and Shahid Kapoor. By the end of the film though, you’ll feel like you did when you were in school, waiting for class to end so you can go out and play.
