Will Katrina don a bikini in Dostana 2???

Katrina Kaif is finally roped in for ‘Dostana 2’. News is that, the glamorous Katrina may don a bikini for the flick.
But our lovely lady was heard saying she does not want to reveal her body by wearing swimwear in any of her future films.
Isn’t it surprising, an actress who was scantily clothed in her debut film Boom, now has a problem with showing off her skin???
Well, Katrina explains, “People have liked the kind of movies I am doing and the kind of roles I’ve taken on. There are some things that I just won’t do, and showing skin is one of them!”

Kat’s the attitude!

After the stupendous success of Raajneeti, Katrina Kaif is all set to anchor a new innings as Bollywood's leading female star. For starters, she is playing the lead role in the remake of Seeta aur Geeta, the iconic double role that made Hema Malini a force to reckon with.
A good test of Katrina's growing clout in tinsel town is how she is calling the shots today, when it comes to navigate her career. For instance, it is she who has decided that Anees Bazmee should be helming this project. Similarly, with Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Kaif is re-negotiating a meatier role in the multi-starrer. This has ruffled some feathers in the crew of this film because in the recent past Katrina has backed out of several movies, because the role was not substantial. These rejects include Anurag Basu's Silence, Shristi Arya's remake of Bride Wars and Anees Bazmee's Thank You. A source from the unit reveals, "In Zoya's film Katrina plays a seductress; the role is more about her looks than actual acting. After Raajneeti, she has received recognition for her acting skills rather than merely her Barbie Doll looks." The source continues, "The movie features Kalki. Katrina won’t want a lesser role compared to her. Zoya has heard her and is making changes wherever possible." Katrina said, "Zoya's film is a bound script with dialogues. There can be no changes.”Friday, June 18, 2010
Ode to Katrina Kaif’s inspires poem for Farhan’s Film

A couplet written by a fan in celebration of Katrina Kaif’s beauty and virtues has surfaced on numerous websites and blogs. It has inspired an entire song devoted to Katrina in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
Says a source close to the project, “Katrina plays a free- spirited girl, a wanderer at heart and a bohemian gypsy by nature whom the three male leads Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol are seriously fascinated by. She inspires the boys to chase their dreams and not being afraid of reaching deep into the darkness to find light.”
And that’s precisely the character that the film’s director Zoya Akhtar’s father the sensitive poet Javed Akhtar will have to describe in his lyrics, for a song devoted to Katrina’s character.
Says the source, “There was only a vague idea for such a song in Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara. But when the poem by Katrina’s fan surfaced on the net everyone felt that the lyrics describing Katrina’s character beauty and zest for life were needed.”
Katrina, neck-deep in shooting, with Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay in Spain is flattered by all the attention she’s getting online and in person. “But I can’t think of anything but how to get into the character. This role requires a lot of physical preparation. I had almost no time to prepare for Zoya’s film. I delayed my departure from Mumbai till the very last minute because I wanted to enjoy the attention that Raajneeti was getting. I get attached to a film and need a transitional period between one project and the next. I didn’t get that space before coming to Spain.”
But pleasure comes with a price. Katrina’s preparation for her zany character in Zoya’s film is half-complete. She needs to master many outdoor sports. Most of them are new to her. But she is learning on the job in Spain. “I landed here at night and started shooting next morning, completely unprepared. But now I’m getting a hang of it.”
About the ode by her fan she says, “It’s flattering to have people write such wonderful lines for you. I can’t pretend to be unaffected by all the attention that I’m getting. At the same time, I can’t let it go to my head. There’s so much more to be done.”
